Unboxing the #RefreshVoxBox

I know what you’re thinking… Whoa, did a drug store explode on her carpet? That would be lovely but that’s not the case. These are all of the things I received last month in the #RefreshVoxBox from Influenster.

Before I get into everything in the box I’ll tell you quickly what Influenster is. Basically in a nutshell they’re a company that sends products to “Active social media savvy people” to review. So if you’re big into social media and you like free products Influenster might be for you.

On to the box… The #RefreshVoxBox was full of things to help us stay refreshed and renewed for the New Year. Can we even say “New Year” now that we’re in March? Anyway, I received…

Skinny Girl Nutrition Bar: This was actually pretty good. It tasted like a regular granola bar covered in chocolate. I really thought it was going to be gross since it’s healthy. Go Figure.

DenTek Flossers: I love these and used them in the past. I received a pack for little kids as well as a pack for adults. The ones for kids are colorful and adorable. Why does everything for grown ups have to be boring?

Listerine PocketPaks: Also a product I’ve used for a long time. These are real lifesavers. Keep them in your purse and pop one in your mouth incase you run into someone you know or someone you want to get to know. The last thing you want is to offend someone with your breath.

Montagne Jeunesse Peel Offs: This mask was pretty cool. I love the ones you just smear on your face, wait and then peel off! I looked like the Monster from the lagoon when I was wearing it but my skin looked and felt amazing afterwards.

L’Occitane Shea Butter Comforting Cream: It’s a mouthful to say but I applied the cream to my face after the mask and just when I thought my skin couldn’t feel any better it did! This cream is amazing and I’m quite fond of anything that contains Shea butter.

Cover Girl Ultra Smooth Foundation: I'm not impressed. I'm not even going to talk about the weird rubbery applicator that it came with. I will say that the foundation itself isn't horrible it just doesn't offer a lot of coverage. It leaves your skin with a dewy appearance, which is fine if you like that sort of thing. I'll be honest and say I did not leave it on for long. I ended up washing it off because it gave my skin a strange appearance once it mixed with my primer.

Beanitos Chips: So I received two flavors in my box, Restaurant Style and Nacho Cheese. This was my first time eating these and I ate them all. Like right away. No shame. I went and bought more today. Chips made out of beans? And they’re good?!

Overall I’m pleased with my #RefreshVoxBox. Is there anything here that you’ve tried before or would like to try? Don’t forget if you’re a social media maven check out Influenster!
